Playing on Stage: Performance and Stagecraft (1 week session, full days)
In partnership with the Township of Scugog

July 23 – 27 (ages 7 – 12)
July 30 – August 3 (ages 13 – 15)
August 13 – 17 (ages 7 – 12)

Have fun in this playful approach to performance and stagecraft, with a focus on process and personal growth in a supportive collaborative environment! Acting is so much more than delivering the right lines in the right place at the right time and, whether in the ensemble or carrying a leading role, performers need to be versatile, adventurous and open to playing in the rehearsal process to come alive on stage. Come play with Theatre 3×60’s professional theatre instructors through a variety of warm-up, rehearsal and performance techniques that come together on stage at the end of the week in a public presentation. Playing on Stage programs will be held at Town Hall 1873 Centre for the Performing Arts and include attending at least one Port Perry Summer Theatre production. New and experienced performers welcome!

This is a full day specialty summer program in partnership with the Township of Scugog offering introductory theatre skills in the morning and other recreational activities and locations in the afternoon. Program registration & information available through the Scugog Leisure Guide – http://www.scugog.ca/en/live-and-play/Leisure-Guide.aspx
