At Sunnybrae Golf Club,
1430 King St. Port Perry
Love speaks again this February, when Theatre 3×60 returns to Sunnybrae Golf Club to share Valentine’s Day, and a love of theatre, with an evening of dinner and live performances, savouring the surprises of love and relationships.
Last year’s inaugural event was a sold out success and Love Speaks Again! promises to be another special evening of dining and entertainment. Start the evening with a complimentary glass of champagne and a perusal of the silent auction tables for that special Valentine’s gift, then your host, emcee Johnny Soln, will invite you to enjoy a plated dinner, specially prepared by Sunnybrae’s Chef Basil. The evening is completed with dessert and coffee as Theatre 3×60 performs an entertaining selection of love related readings and songs.
All proceeds from When Love Speaks will benefit Theatre 3×60 and its programs, including the annual school and community tour, which, since 2013, has brought socially relevant Canadian theatre to over 2,500 Durham students and residents. Theatre 3×60 is committed to enriching lives through theatre, on and offstage with increased accessibility, education, audience engagement and the development of new theatre work and artists. In 2016, Theatre 3×60 provided mentorship to local community and school theatre productions, made tickets to local productions available to students through its Save a Seat Program and launched the first season of Port Perry Summer Theatre at Town Hall 1873, which included the first Durham Minifest educational play festival.
